Diabetes Fund

Help us in the fight against diabetes in our community.

Diabetes is one of the leading causes of disability and death in the United States. If it’s not properly managed, diabetes can cause blindness, nerve damage, kidney disease, and other health problems. One in 12 Americans has diabetes – that’s more than 25 million people. And another 79 million adults in the United States are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Southwestern Pennsylvania in particular holds the unenviable distinction of having one of the highest incidence rates of diabetes in the country. That’s why St. Clair Hospital opened the most comprehensive Diabetes Center in the South Hills. It is specifically designed to help our community deal with this growing health issue. People with diabetes need the qualified expertise of endocrinologists, dietitians, and nurse educators to help them manage their condition and understand how it affects their lives. St. Clair Hospital’s Diabetes Center provides this expertise in a caring, convenient location.

Please help us in this battle by making a donation today to the St. Clair Hospital Diabetes Fund. Your gift will support initiatives of the Diabetes Center that focus on prevention and education through equipment purchases, patient education and programs, and staff training.

When making your gift, please write-in “DIABETES FUND” in the purpose field of the gift form. If there is a loved one you’d like to honor with your gift, please include their name with your contribution.

Clicking “Donate” will take you to a secure site operated by PayPal.
