Recent statistics show that cases of breast cancer are trending higher in the greater South Hills and western suburbs of Pittsburgh than the national average. St. Clair Hospital’s Breast Care Fund supports programs and services of the Hospital’s Breast Care Center. In the midst of treatment for breast cancer, we understand that small things make a huge difference in the lives of our patients.

By Supporting St. Clair Hospital’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, you can help us to:

• Host the bi-annual Women’s Wellness Fair, providing free mammograms for uninsured women to promote early detection.
• Purchase mammography pads, which protect the skin and give patients a more comfortable experience during their mammogram.
• Purchase custom-made post-surgical bras and camisoles which help ease discomfort following surgery and/or radiation therapy.
• Offer financial assistance for medications and equipment that patients could not otherwise afford.
• Provide patient education materials.
