Join us at the Annual Pittsburgh Heart Summit
The Annual Pittsburgh Heart Summit is a premier event designed to empower physicians and physician extenders, fostering collaboration among professionals in surgery, cardiology, and pulmonology. This gathering equips healthcare providers with essential tools to enhance teamwork in the care of patients with cardiovascular and thoracic diseases.
Key Objectives:
Advance Team Concept: Our summit is dedicated to advancing the team concept of patient care. We recognize the importance of collaboration and aim to provide practical tools for healthcare professionals to seamlessly work together.
Interactive Guideline Discussions: Physicians often lack opportunities to interactively discuss current guideline-based care with surgeons and cardiologists. The summit creates a platform for engaging discussions, facilitating the exchange of insights and best practices.
Enhance Team Dynamics: Encouraging improved team dynamics is a core focus. We believe that a cohesive healthcare team leads to better patient outcomes. Attendees will explore ways to strengthen communication and cooperation among different specialties.
Compare Cooperative Expertise: The summit provides a unique opportunity to compare cooperative expertise. Surgeons and cardiologists can share their experiences, learn from each other, and discover innovative approaches to patient care.
Education for Collaboration: Physicians and healthcare providers will gain valuable insights into working collaboratively for improved patient safety and clinical efficiency. The summit is committed to providing education that translates into tangible improvements in healthcare delivery.
Why Attend?
Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers, surgeons, cardiologists, and pulmonologists, fostering valuable professional relationships.
Cutting-edge Insights: Stay updated on the latest advancements and guideline-based care in cardiovascular and thoracic diseases.
In 2024, the Summit will integrate the cultures and expertise of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists and affiliated specialties primarily from the Greater Pittsburgh Medical Community. Western Pennsylvania regional physicians, physician extenders and providers will engage the speakers and faculty through a diverse lecture series, resident research presentations, and during the live, interactive faculty roundtable discussions at the Home Plate of PNC Stadium. Learners may earn educational credits during this in-person event.
