Making Your Surgery Safe

While we have been successful in flattening the curve, coronavirus is still in our community and still contagious. Rest assured that  St. Clair Hospital is among the safest places in healthcare today.  You can feel confident we’re keeping our patients safe.

Elective Surgery

In accordance with guidelines from the CDC, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Allegheny County Health Department, St. Clair Hospital has resumed all elective testing and diagnostic procedures at St. Clair Hospital and the St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center – Village Square. On May 11, elective surgeries resumed at St. Clair. Your physician office will contact you in regard to scheduling or rescheduling your elective surgery.

Safe in Our Hands

In times like these, excellence matters more than ever. You should be reassured that, as a St. Clair patient, the care you’re receiving is among the nation’s best. In fact, St. Clair is the region’s only hospital – and among just the best 1.1 percent in the country – to receive a hospital safety grade of ‘A’ for 10 consecutive years from The Leapfrog Group, the nation’s leading nonprofit on preventing patient harm such as hospital-acquired infections.
