Patients are invited to join poet and artist Veronica Corpuz through a series of grounding embodiment exercises, guided imagery and writing prompts that explore the many stories held within the body. Veronica Corpuz is a poet and member of the Madwomen in the Attic workshop at Carlow University and the #notwhite collective in Pittsburgh, Pa. Her most recent collection of poetry, The Widow’s Calendar, was a finalist for the 2019 Marsh Hawk Press Poetry Prize and 2020 Airlie Prize. With the #notwhite collective, she has exhibited mixed media work and photography at Buen Vivir Gallery in Buffalo, the Brew House and SPACE galleries in Pittsburgh and Harlan Gallery at Seton Hill University.
